Who We Are

David R. Peloquin, CFP®

President

David Richard Peloquin, CFP®, formed Main Street Advisors in early 1999, and is sole owner and President of the firm. He began his career in financial services at Equitable Bank, NA in 1984. Prior to forming Main Street Advisors, David was an investment advisor at Investment Resource Group, Ltd. of Towson, Maryland for seven years. While there, he provided financial planning and investment advisory services to IRG’s clients, and assisted that firm’s owner in the transition to a fee-based practice.

David graduated cum laude from the University of Baltimore in 1983 with a business degree, and earned his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation in 1989. He and his wife have called Westminster home for the past thirty-three years, where they have raised three daughters and have become strong stewards of the community. In his leisure time, David enjoys spending time with his family, reading, sports and traveling.

Ann L. Mondor

Operations Manager

Ann Mondor joined Main Street Advisors as Operations Manager in October 2002. Before joining MSA, she worked for eight years as a database and marketing manager for Deerfield Healthcare Corporation, a senior day care company. She graduated cum laude from Mount Saint Mary’s College in 1994 with a business and finance degree. Ann lives in Westminster with her husband and two children, Sean and Lauren. She enjoys spending time attending her children’s athletic events, traveling and gardening.

Melissa N. Jordan

Director of Marketing & Business Development
Financial Planner

Melissa graduated cum laude from the University of Baltimore in 2000 with a business degree. Now, with 18 years of experience in the financial services industry and having served in several different roles including Client Relationship Manager, Director of Client Services, Director of Business Development and Marketing and Vice President of Operations, Melissa has a strong knowledge base of the industry and what it takes to serve clients well.

After spending the majority of her career working within the independent RIA space, Melissa started her own consulting business focused on this particular segment of the financial industry. It was through that endeavor that Melissa began working with Main Street Advisors.

After a year of serving in a consultative capacity, Melissa officially joined the team as Director of Marketing and Business Development. Designing development strategies that support the growth and sustainability of the business is a key element of her role. Building new relationships with professionals as well as individuals and families who could benefit from our services is also a primary focus. In addition, Melissa helps support existing MSA relationships as well as plays an integral part in the financial planning process.

In her leisure time Melissa enjoys spending time with her family and friends, enjoying life’s joys with her husband and three children, reading, writing, running and exploring.
